I started in jewelry design and making about 10 years ago when a friend introduced me to the art of beading. Issie took the time to teach me some of the basics and I have been hooked every since. For a few years I made jewelry and sold at road shows while holding down two jobs, then for a time I packed away my tools, the metal, the beads, the gemstones and focused on getting through a bit of a tough time.
At the start of 2011 I full engaged and determined that I want (as much as I need) to get back to creative design. I thoroughly enjoy what I do! I made myself a work bench, dusted off my kiln and my tools, pulled out all my stock, spend some $ on new and pretty things and additional stock and here I am, ready to get back into the design for pleasure game, doing what I truly enjoy.
