I am a writer with an MFA and love to write book reviews and read, read, read. I have been a zine writer for a long time and am working on a couple new zines, one about migraines, and one about living in Minneapolis. I hope to finish one of these before I die. Just kidding. It's just that I have a toddler so I don't have much free time.
I am a visual artist who loves to alter things. Things that influence my work: game pieces, retro kids' books and illustations, geekery, doodles, gears, robots.
I also love to sew little things, especially for friends and family, but if I find something really fun to make, I'll end up making a bunch so I can sell them and share with others. But no two items will be alike, because I always have some new bit of ribbon to try out or an irresistible button to use.
