I learned to paint traditionally with pen and ink and acrylics when I was a teenager. Then I traded my brushes for my first SLR camera and fell in love with that art medium.

During my 33 year career as a civil servant, I mastered many skills, including using a modern computer, in the process falling in love with computer software, especially graphics software which I used for many years in my information technology job as a software trainer, end user support and web development technician.

Upon my retirement, I opened my own web design and photography businesses which were successful.

Now, retired again, I have combined all my loves (for photography, the computer, graphics software and drawing/painting) into my new art endeavors.

I'm finding that my artistic endeavors are even more fulfilling since I can now combine the techniques of traditional art creation with the modern techniques now available with my digital table/pen and natural media software to create the art my mind envisions.
