I have always felt like I was meant to be an artist/craftsperson but it wasn't until I became menopausal and able to buy supplies that I felt able to break out and create things that fulfill my need to color my world in art. There is a wonderful aspect to one's life when you are older and with more time, gumption and experiences behind you. I am able to laugh and hide my mistakes better, and also able to hold things out to the light and appreciate the blessings of my life with more abandon and less fear of criticism. I feel as if I have entered the third phase of my life - from childhood, to family-hood, to live-the-dream-hood. Welcome to my world!
