Skills and Techniques
I would say that most of my inspiration comes from nature and outer space, so most of my beads are more "organic" in nature.
I am a huge fan of Dr. Carl Sagan and his wife Ms. Anne Druyan. Their lifelong work is the inspiration for my moon focals and outer space themed beads.

Get to Know
Every day at the torch is a learning experience - learning about the properties of the different glasses, learning not to swear, learning not to burn myself! So far so good. I think I have finally found a niche to settle into after working in so many different art forms. In the past I have knitted (by hand and machine), macramed, crocheted, designed and hand sewed teddy bears, counted cross stitch, hand and machine embroidery, acrylic painting on stones and rocks, and ceramics and pottery (poured molds, hand formed, and wheel thrown).
If you have any questions, just drop me a message - would love to hear from you!
I am a member of the International Society of Glass Beadmakers and am registered in the Self Representing Lampwork Artist, #K31.
