Creations by Tera I refer to beading & bead weaving as my Zen practice--keeps my hands busy, & my mind & spirit calm. I started sewing as a child. I started beading as a young professional dancer because we did not have all the fancy, expensive imported costumes from Egypt and Turkey that are available now. I set all that aside when I went back to professional school in my 30s to become a chiropractic physician. I had no time for my arts and design work for many years after that. I started back into beading by taking various beading and bead weaving technique classes with various artists/teachers at my local, favorite bead store. That was about fifteen years ago now! It gets to the point where one woman can wear only so much jewelry, and hang only so many quilted wall hangings. In my circle of family, close friends, and mentors, everyone has encouraged me to sell my work. So here I am! Welcome to my world of beading and sewing! Enjoy!
