I have always had a creative urge to make stuff. I grew up sewing my school clothes and then gravitated to quilting and fabric arts, as I got older. I then discovered the world of beads and combined the two: Fabrics and Beads! I love the texture and color of both and I'm thoroughly addicted!
I love to collect all kinds of things also, so when that started getting out of hand, I started dis-assembling old costume jewelry and re-assembling it to my liking. It fits in nicely with the theme of today - Re-Use, Re-Cycle and Re-Do!
My Beoples pins are a lot of fun to make and to wear. They each have their own personality, and most of them are having a bad hair day. I can relate to that, as almost everyday I have a bad hair day!
I have been influenced by a great many fabric, doll and bead artists in my endeavors.
