Hello, my name is Rosi and welcome to Berrybeads.

When I was little, my mother would encourage me and my sisters to make gifts for our friends and relatives instead of going to the store to buy them. I come from a crafty family and there was a feeling of satisfaction and enjoyment of seeing my creations being used. I love making things that are practical as well as pretty.

Many, many years later, I started my foray into jewelry-making by putting together a beaded lanyard from a kit bought at the local craft store. I was hooked. I decided I could make a better, more durable lanyard on my own and my co-workers bought many of my creations. I am entirely self-taught as a jewelry artist/designer and prefer using natural materials like glass, semi-precious stones, silver and copper. I've branched out and started making all sorts of jewelry items like pendants, earrings, bracelets, necklaces and more using chainmaille, wirewrapping and stringing techniques.
