Skills and Techniques
I make glass lampwork beads using Moretti, Tag104, and Double Helix glasses. I use an oxygen/propane torch to make my beads. I love making silver cored beads that will fit on the popular European charm bracelets like Pandora, Trollbeads and Chamilia. All of my bracelet beads are lined using sterling silver tubing. All of my beads are annealed using a kiln with a digital controller.

My journey into bead making began in 2001 when I purchased a beginner's beadmaking kit online. I taught myself using books and any information I could find online. Once my skills improved I upgraded my equipment. As time went on and I became more obsessed with the craft my work station was moved from a little corner in the garage to my own little studio at home. It's always a thrill to check the kiln in the morning. Pulling the beads from the kiln from the beadmaking session the night before is always so exciting. Making beads just never gets old.
