I've been into art as long as I remember....I was born in Kansas, my moms family was from Tennessee and my fathers was from Missouri, I came to California in 1962 and started making silver jewelry in high school, attended Moorpark College for two years AA in art in 1970, Applied Arts degree from GIA in 1982, Marketing from Entrepreneur Academy in 1996 and Producer and Directors Diploma from Hollywood Film Institute in 1995.....In late 1973 I started retail/ wholesale jewelry business...In 36 years in the business I worked on projects for Disney,New Line Cinema,Stephen Spielberg, I had jewelry featured in Arts and Antiques and Easyrider magazines, I did work for movie stars and people in the music business and even did jewelry work on several indian reservations....Now I'm in Gem Quest Jewelry and Gallery at 108-A Signal St. Ojai, Calif 93023, Sand Castle Time Jewelry at 1078 Casitas Pass Rd., Carpinteria, Calif 93013 and Studio Channel Islands Art Center at 2221 Ventura Blvd. Camarillo, Calif. 93010...Also I'm preparing merchandise for Lewis Galleries at 2910 Cochran St., Simi Valley, Calif.93065...I should be displaying by feb. 4, 2011
