After 25 years as a Ph.D. research scientist I'm pleased to finally focus my creativity on my life-long love of sewing. Starting at the age of five I've progressed from making doll clothes to making work clothes wedding dresses ball dresses and baby outfits. I make many of my husband's pants and made his overcoat. Besides making clothes I've covered pillows made boat cushions and window seat cushions and a variety of window treatments - from draw drapes to London shades to sheers and cafe curtains. Along with alterations and repairs these keep my local sewing business busy.
