Get to Know
I first learned to knit from a friend who had opened a yarn store our final year of college. It was a far cry from my degree in Dietetics. Falling in love with the variety of fibers, textures, and colors, I quickly realized I had a natural talent for fiber crafts. Expanding on my knowledge quickly, in 2008, I first started Dawning Dreams with a pound of wool and couple packages of Kool-aid.
Today, after expanding the product line to include yarns, batts, spinning wheels, and other hand-made accessories, Dawning Dreams is proud to offer new and unique treasures on such sites as Etsy, Artfire, and Ravelry.
I love supporting my local fiber friends as much as possible, so you will see many fibers harvested from Oklahoma animals such as my alpaca, angora, and mohair.
