Skills and Techniques
I design, cut, layer and fuse the 96 coe glass to 1700 degrees to create one of a kind jewelry. Each piece is an original and each fused piece has been annealed in my home studio kiln to make it durable and signed on the back. The art glass pieces are framed in copper and leaded, using the stained glass method. My bails are either sterling silver or gold plated. All images are sealed behind art glass. I love doing dichroic jewelry, watercolor, pottery, art glass, stained glass...you name it. I taught AP and High School Commercial Art for 37 years, and also taught at T.C.U. My degree is from U.N.T. I believe in life long learning and enjoy learning new skills,and traveling to distant places (we went to Spain and Portugal this year and have been fortunate enough to have traveled extensively in the past.) I love animals with a passion,nature and reading. I have a shop on Etsy, Zibbet and Delphi Glass as well. I love what I do and nothing makes me happier than sharing my work with others.
