Here at Double LL Gifts, you will find my mother and myself spending most of our time when we are at home or at our store, at the sewing machine. My mom taught me to sew when I was young, and her mother taught her. We have done the craft shows for 15+ years and were able to open a store front in our small town of Girard, PA (Erie County) about 5 years ago. Our store carries collectibles as well as homemade items. I am a mother of 2 great boys, 17 and 13 years old, and the wife of a retired Navy Veteran. I work part time for a Chiropractor. We are civil war re-enactors and love to travel to the battlefields. We are a pet friendly home with cats and a dog. My mother retired about 10 years ago, although she keeps telling me she works harder now. My attic is full of fabric, my husband calls me a fabri-hollic. If I like it, I buy it, and someday I will figure out what to make with it. There are many items we make, including bibs (baby and adult), blankets, aprons, girls dresses, boys rompers, hats, scarves, placemats, footballs, pillows, purses/bags, bonnetts, stone jewelry, coasters and more.
