Welcome to Double S Jewelry - "Where every item is a jewel!" Every item is handmade. I am a native of Atlanta where I met my husband who is also a native of Atlanta. That is rare these days! We went to the same high school and married 5 years later. We both attended college in south Georgia. We both worked and raised our two children and are now retired. We have many interests that we share but we both feel that it is healthy for a relationship to have time apart from one another. So, I make jewelry! After exploring many creative outlets such as painting, sewing, photography, cake decorating and interior design, I have finally found my true passion in jewelry design. I love the whole process of shopping for materials, using my imagination to come up with the design and using my hands to create the final product. I must confess that I do have a couple of other passions in my life. One is healthy, tennis. I play on almost every doubles league available. The other is debatable, chocolate. I argue that it falls under the healthy category because it contains antioxidants but my friends and family say it isn't a passion it is an addiction. Well, if you are going to have an addiction I can't think of a better one!
