I have always loved to design just about anything, handbags, clothing, costumes, home decor, etc. I have also loved to sew and shop for beautiful fabrics since I was a young child.
I have always wished that I could fly like a dragon. What fun it would be up in the clouds, looking down on the activity and scenery below. Unlike scary western dragons, eastern dragons are a symbol of good fortune. So with this shop I am taking flight with my friendly, fortunate dragon.
I studied design at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. I have been designing and sewing clothing, accessories, home decor, and costumes for decades.
Recently I homeschooled my darling daughter for eight years. Now she has gone off to college, and I finally have the time to do what I love best -- designing and producing handbags.
This shop will be primarily handbags, but, like my dragon, I can be flighty. So you may see other items from time to time.
One of the things about running this business that I have found I really enjoy is working with customers to create custom bags for them. The conversations are fun and the design ideas fly. I just love to talk about possible designs and colors.
