The story of each person's spiritual journey is unique. And it always seems difficult to pinpoint the realization of our starting point. However, it is my belief that for each of us it begins at conception.
I grew up in an ordinary middle class family. We were catholic. Although there is a history of witches on one side of my family, I certainly would not say it was a part of my upbringing. Rather we went to mass every Sunday morning and special holiday. My father was and is a member of the Knights of Columbus, my brother an altar boy and I went to Sunday school every week into my early teens. I am not a practicing Catholic as I found my spiritual journey laid outside of the church as a young child and had stopped going to church many moons ago.
It wasn't until my early teens that I learned not everyone had lucid dreams. Not long afterwards I began my journey communicating with the spirit world. By my late teens I meet a wonderful man, who would later become my amazing husband. He helped me find books and introduced me to some wonderful "book" stores where I found a welcoming community that was willing to share their love, light and insight with me. They patiently listened, answered my questions and opened my eyes to a whole new world.
Many of these stores are gone. Most of the people have moved on the share their gifts in new locations with new people, myself included. However, I will always be in debited to those who helped through my chaos, helped me to understand, and eventually find my own path.
My own shop, my new journey, began with the love, tenderness and vulnerability I felt in those first few years of spiritual discovery. It is my desire to help those who are just beginning out in the same way those gentle souls helped me. I want my shop to be a refuge to those who are lost, just starting to find their way and a place where those of us who may have more experience can share our knowledge, strength, love and light.
Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your journey and for being a part of mine. Each of us is but a tree in this huge forest where together we can create our own ecosystem of love, life and enlightenment. As we grow in numbers eventually we can create a new life on Earth filled with love, light and peace.
