A seamstress and designer for over 50 years, I am a compulsive packrat, and can not throw anything away, so my collections of fabrics, rubber stamps, beads, and whatever else has interested me over the years, can be found throughout my 4 story (includes basement and attic) Victorian home. I worked as a fashion designer, fashion copywriter, window dresser and newspaper paste-up artist prior to becoming an art teacher, this last occupation continuing for 28 years. I retired 15 years ago (early retirement, that is) and haven't looked back. My other studio, Eclectic Oddities, houses my various wares, and shows evidence of some of the subjects I taught my high school students and continued to pursue after I retired.
