I have been making jewelry of some sort for years. My fascination with beads started as a child. I had a small board with hundreds of holes where designs were made with beads. I think it was my favorite toy. When I was about to be married my mother gave me my adoption papers that revealed I am 1/4 Native American. I like to think that perhaps I am a decedent of a tribal beader.
During my "hippie" era I made and sold macramé jewelry at flea markets. It was fun, but not very profitable.
In 2001 I began selling my bead work again in my own gift shop. I love finding new ideas and techniques. Since then I have added wire wrapping and chainmaille to my repertoire or skills. Each technique has it's own beauty.
Besides jewelry making I love to stitch Hardanger doilies and decoupage vases. Several of these items can also be found among my Art Fire items. Please, come, explore, enjoy! Feel free to contact me with any questions.
