Our name GeGe is our first and last names reversed, we thought it was a fun acronym, in case you were wondering. I am a very very long time sewer/crafter, starting very young (about 3) with already a obsession with fabric and have in the past years added yarn and beads to that ever growing collection! My daughter is very creative and has a fresh take on designs and ideas when she is not busy with school or swimming. I am a degreed fashion designer and professional dressmaker, but have a passion for sewing, crocheting,jewelry making, embroydery, and everything involved with needlearts and crafting. We are very inspired by my European immigrant parents who are truly old-world artisans creating masterpieces out of wood, fabric and yarn! Art and creating is definitely a generational affair! In fact, some pieces may be made with wood scraps from my 89-yr old father's woodworking studio! We upcycle as much as possible, mixing repurposed with new. Saving trees and preserving our home in the universe is what everyone is commissioned to do!All our accessories are made to the highest standards using only highest quality materials for many years of wearing enjoyment.
