Having been born with a creative vein I've expressed this creativity mainly through drawing and painting during my growing up years. Marriage and motherhood brought other priorities with life and though dampening the times for my artistic creations a bit, the creativity always remained and simmered within. In my later years after having painted canvasses, walls, furniture and glass ornaments. I discovered an interest in renaissance clothing after having gone to my first renaissance faire and that prompted me to make my own costume creations including the jewelry. Now as a so called "empty nester" my creativity has awakened a new calling: to create vintage victorian and renaissance inspired jewelry, which I would like to share with the world around me and you. So with the encouragement of my now grown sons and my wonderful Husband, Gesine-Art (original designs by Gesine ) has come to life.

Christmas,one of my favorite Holidays has always presented itself as a perfect time and as special outlet for my creative expressions. Having fond memories of christmas' past in my native Germany and the beautiful christmas tree ornaments, I was inspired to handpaint glass ornaments a few years back, sharing them with friends and family over the years. These ornaments are not only special during the christmas holidays but would make beautiful gifts all year around and my hope is that they may bring a smile to the faces and hearts of their owners as they look at them.
