I have been creating art of all kinds since I was at least 10 years old. I love to draw and was doing portraits in pen/ink, pencil, charcoal, pastels and colored pencils while in high school and after. Animals, especially horses, dogs and cats are my favorite subjects. I was first introduced to stained glass in 1982 and quickly found it to be my favorite medium. That progressed to glass blowing, glass fusing, and torchwork beads, finally settling on my favorites: stained glass and fused glass. The jewelry making came as a result of needing to create prior to setting up my home glass studio after moving to a Chicago suburb. I can't just sit and do nothing! But now that the studio is up and running, I can do a little bit of everything. I draw my own patterns for the glass. I already have a large collection of generic dog breeds for stained glass and can also do a specific pet from your photo. Dogs have been a part of most of my adult life and currently I have a retired greyhound named Gunny (Yo Gun Shot). My significant other and I enjoy living in the Chicago suburbs. I work in Chicago.
