Welcome to Graceful Arts! I love to create lots of different things, beautiful things and useful things. My favorite things to work with are fabric, beads, and paper. My mother taught me to sew by the time I was ten. I started with simple things, then stuffed animals, and then it was clothing, for myself and later for my husband, children, and now my grandchildren. More recently I've expanded into making bags and baby blankets as well as quilting. I love paper almost as much as I love fabric! I think it's a tactile thing. The colors and patterns and feel of things conjures up all kinds of ideas for me. My love of beads is all about colors, combinations, and of course the "bling" appeal! In fact, color is the common denominator with Graceful Arts! I do hope that you will find my creations beautiful as well.
