Get to Know

I love tasty organic food, green living and all the treasures the earth has to offer. Working with aromatic healing herbs and oils is a true pleasure and passion of mine. Organic herbal oils and aromatherapy blends nourish the body as well as the spirit. My passion is to take herbal products to the next level by including rare and exotic ingredients to get the most nurturing and effective results possible. I study regularly so that I can better my formulas and create new blends with the latest research that is available. I am particularly interested in using rare and exotic oils to create blends that nurture and heal on a deeper level. I have been selling my products locally at the Natural Health Center here in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin and now I'm so pleased to be able to offer my creations on-line. I strive to use only organic and natural products and always disclose all ingredients. I'm happy to answer any questions you may have. Want to know the latin name, method of extraction or country of origin on an ingredient, just ask! I believe that we should all be informed about what we are putting on (and into) our bodies, which is why I only purchase my supplies from highly reputable sources. I also have more information on my website www.graciouselements.com where you can learn more about the ingredients I use.

Jewelry, in my humble opinion, is not only meant to make you look good but also to make you feel good. Whether you're matching your outfit or need some color therapy for the day, genuine gemstones and precious metals make the experience of wearing jewelry all the more special. Adorning yourself with beautiful jewels and precious metals not only makes you look good, but feel good by connecting yourself with all the treasures the earth has to offer. My designs are inspired by ancient cultures, chakra colors and nature, but all are for the fun and enjoyment of the wearer. I believe that's the way wearable art should be. Wearing any piece of jewelry should make you look good and feel even better. When you're wearing one of my pieces I want you to feel spectacular.
Wearing a handmade piece of jewelry using quality components takes an ordinary piece and makes it extraordinary. Which is another reason I love custom pieces. Designing a piece from scratch or modifying a current design to your particular preferences is so enjoyable, you won't know when to stop! I personally love to wear real gemstones with all their earthy-good qualities and feel the stones heat up as I wear them throughout the day. Choosing jewelry to match my outfit is it's own color therapy, but I also believe (as do a bunch of researchers) that they affect my body and mood with their different, lovely spectrums. I often reach for earrings with kyanite or iolite when I feel a headache coming on, as their spectrum coincides with the 6th chakra (or third eye). Whether or not it actually helps my headache is beside the point, as I've done something nurturing for myself. And to be honest - I'm a pushover for dark blue gems, and kyanite is one of my favorites.

And so there it is in a pretty big nut shell - and if you have an inner squirrel like me you're probably looking for a place to stash all this good stuff.

One of my more popular pieces, this is a seven strand bracelet of all the chakra colors with a diagonal swath of smoky quartz. I've used multiple stones of each color to make a very powerful piece.

An example of how to make jewelry for your needs. I wanted a piece for myself that reflected the lower chakras and my love of sunstone, and here it is! Paired with citrine and orange aventurine - I can make this in just about any color combination and with different amounts of rows. Just ask!

My first oco geode piece that I called 'Lunar Eclipse'. This piece sold locally very quickly, and fueled my fire to make more of these pieces. I like keeping the geode the focus and not have any wire wrapping around it so that you can see the full beauty of the stone.

For those of you who have purchased any of my herbal products you may have noticed the line on the label that says 'Several animals were pampered during production of this item.' Here they are! I wanted to let everyone know that not only were no animals harmed, several were extra happy! My two beautiful girls (sisters), Maine Coon kitties. Their likes include salmon, valerian essential oil and watching 'kitty cable'. (We have a lot of feeders outside on the patio.)
