My name is Kimberly and I live in Austin TX with my fiance and our dog.
I am a two-time cancer survivor and taught myself how to bead about 4 years ago while going through chemo. My parents bought me the book Making Jewelry and Beading for Dummies to learn something new during my down time. I began making breast cancer awareness items to raise money for charity. This became a full time job though when I was terminated by my employer for being too sick to work. I soon branched out into non cancer related items and new techniques.
