Interests
My main focus is Beading. I love working with little tiny seed beads and stitching them together to form designs. My favorite thing is to do custom work. I love working with others to achieve a design that they love and making it real for them.
Skills and Techniques
I have been doing bead work since 2000. I can do many different stitches. I do have my own designs and I incorporate designs I see in nature into my artwork. I am a self taught beader. I learned from books and watching others do beadwork and asking questions.

I originally started Hummingbirds Rock Jewelry because I love making beautiful things. So my goal is to make beautiful, good quality jewerly anyone can afford. Keeping my prices low in not me saying it's not worth it, it's me saying I want you to have something beautiful you can afford to buy and wear. I live in Thornton Colorado and I have a husband, 4 grown kids, 5 grandkids and we live with some dogs, birds and rabbits. I originally started by painting animals on Colorado River Rocks and selling them. In 2000 I became interested in doing bead work after I went to a bead show and saw a demonstration. I then set out to find out how to do it. I have learned mostly on my own. I love creating my own designs, I go for nature walks and get ideas about designs from there. My goal is to create beautiful reasonably priced jewelry anyone can afford to buy and wear. Most of my jewelry is "One of a Kind". My pins and some of my bracelets are the exception to this, even they are each a little different since I make each one individually.
