Hello and Welcome to my studio,my name is Jenny & I would like to tell you a little about my studio & how I got started with crafts & beading & why I like to collect vintage jewelry & update them a bit when they need it.
I've been collecting vintage jewelry & making some miner alterations to a few of them & beaded jewelry for about 8 years now. . I started by watching my older sisters at first when I was very small. I liked it very much back then & still enjoy it up to this day.I've been making beaded jewelry ever since. I first started making jewelry for myself and I would get many compliments when I would wear my jewelry. Many times I was approached by people who really liked a particular piece of jewelry, that they would ask if I can make one for them. At the time I had no business cards or anything so we would exchange numbers. I started to get more & more people placing custom orders & that's what motivated me to get a little something started.
I also volunteered when I was a teen at convalescent homes and taught the ladies their how make & bead their own jewelry which I enjoyed doing very much.
That's where I got very interested in vintage jewelry.I enjoyed the vintage style jewelry with the rhinestones they would sometimes wear on special occasions/holidays. The jewelry they wore was so elegant & beautiful. And it made any outfit look radiant & sophisticated.
I wish to give everyone an opportunity to feel that with the jewelry items I have in my studio by offering my items in a reasonable price.
You will be very please with the quality and the results from wearing such beautiful pieces of jewelry.
Recently I have also added a few of my handmade items such as the hair accessories you will find in my studio. I first started making them for my grand daughters and again just like my beaded jewelry I started to get compliments and it made me proud of the work I was doing and that's how I got inspired to add them to my studio.
