Hello, and welcome to our shop!
Formerly known as "Kira and Kiko Arts and Crafts," Glow Den is a collective of two Floridian artists who (mostly) work together to bring you amazing art and glowing crafts that stand out from the pack! We specialize in the cute and awesome with our special style of realistic hats that is unique to us. You can find us at the majority of Florida conventions when we venture out of our cave. We started 2012 right with the introduction of our Rainbow Glow Hat, and recently, our Glow Line items in June. We make just about anything you can dream of! We are always trying out new techniques and ideas, so you can expect to always see something new, always made with love!
Kira Loup was born and raised in Orlando, where her main inspiration was her grandfather, who was an artist for Disney. She is now an artist and musician who's been practicing since 2000. She plays the keytar for The Gekkos, a nerd-rock band, and is working on ideas for a brand new comic that will premier near the end of the year.
Kiko Jaharo began sewing in 2003 with instruction from her great grandmother. She has been sewing even since, and has also added prop making, jewelry, knitting, woodworking, soap making, candlemaking, and more to her list of skills. In 2010 she started tinkering with electronics, which gives Glow Den it's signature shine. Recently she's been working with resin casting and fursuiting to improve her costuming skills.
