Get to Know
Hello my name is Bonnie and it seems my hands have been busy creating one thing or another all my life. From the time I learned I could refashion hand me downs into brand new designs I\'ve been intrigued with taking one thing and making it something else, whether it be transforming a plain white wall into a full mural or an old discarded roofing slate into a welcome sign or a burned out light bulb into a Christmas ornament, well, you get the picture. Years ago I purchased a few packets of polymer clay with the intention of learning something new. The packs stayed tucked away ( ok, buried..lol) in the jumble of stashed away projects I tend to collect and rediscovered a year ago while moving and reorganizing my creating spot in the house. It wasn\'t long before I was totally , hopelessly in love with this medium. Taking a plain solid color of clay and mixing new shades and tones, making intricate patterns, combining, texturing, the possibilities are endless.. the learning of new techniques fascinating! I look forward each day to discovering and creating something new. If I am not actually in my studio creating I am seeing the possibilities every where I go. Everywhere I turn, everything I see comes with the question of I wonder if I can (filling in the blank)? Followed by hurrying to my studio to try it out. It is my hope that as much as I have to make, you will discover within my shop something you just have to have.
