Get to Know

Since childhood, I have enjoyed making things. Then, I majored in Fine Arts for a year before switching majors. A little over 10 years ago, I discovered beaded micro macrame jewelry. I fell in love. I started out with some basic anklets and sold them out of the taxi cab I was driving at the time!

I have since quit working outside the home in order to pursue my dream of making jewelry and writing patterns full time. I love designing and teaching and with my love of handmade things, it is a match made in heaven.

I have had an Etsy Shop since Jan 2007 with some success. See www.knotgypsy.etsy.com for more items - mostly kits and patterns for those who want to learn how to "make it themselves" and feedback I have received from customers. Also see my website at www.knotgypsydesigns.com for lots more information.

Again, don't be afraid to ask questions, I am happy to answer them.

I had made the bracelet and decided to experiment with a design for a necklace. A friend came by to visit and bought the set as soon as she saw it...I have plans to one day write it up as a pattern...one day.

I had so much fun making this "slave bracelet" for a friend as a birthday present...I have plans to make more and to write up a pattern for it...again, one day. So many projects, So little time!

This bracelet is the only one I have made in this style so far. I have plans to make more and to write up a pattern for it.
