Life can sometimes take you full circle! I have done just that. Here's my story...
I have enjoyed anything craft related since childhood. I was 5 years old when "Santa" brought me my first sewing machine! I had the best dressed dolls in the neighborhood! My interests grew to making my own clothes from patterns to creating my own patterns and making clothes for my Uncle and my Dear Grandma (they proudly wore anything that I made for them), local fashion shows, proms and even weddings. This was all before I graduated High School. In addition to sewing I grew to appreciate many forms of Art which included Sculpting, Charcoal, Oils, and Sketching.
After High School, I planned to enter Art School but my Dad had other plans. So off I went to a State College to pursue becoming a Social Worker. From there my life focus became family, kids, and responsibilities. I enjoyed a career in Human Resources for over 20 years. My passion for art took a back burner to life.
Over the years my husband would encourage me and has been eager for me to get back to my passion. He would always have me making items for him and our home.
A new found passion arose when friends introduced my husband and me to the world of auctions and estate sales. We both fell in love with Antique Furniture and anything from an era gone bye. Several years later we launched an Ebay site. Four years ago, I hung up my 9 to 5 corporate job and entered the world of Entrepreneurship! In the past couple of years my passion to create has been rekindled and here I am after a 30 year hiatus back to what I love doing most! Now my circle has expanded and I'm beginning another ring!
