LauraAnne Designs is a culmination of many dreams that have developed over the years. My love for art began at an early age with my family as we are all talented in the arts. I continue to draw my inspiration from them as we talk & share our experiences. Many times over the years I would often paint, or design art late into the night while listening to Vivaldi or Tchaikovsky, allowing the music to touch my heart & reverberate into my work. This led me to becoming a member of an art guild in Pennsylvania where I received numerous awards for my oil & acrylic paintings as well as ribbons in the State Fair of Pennsylvania. I also modeled, teaching it and did some photography which I use in my own web page now to present my Art Jewelry. After moving to California I started expanding in other mediums: ~Floral Design ~Femo Clay Jewelry ~Stained Glass Designing ~Stain Glass Jewelry ~Handmade Beaded Art Jewelry Designs my lasted Wearable Art One day my daughter & I found an exquisite bead shop & decided we could make necklaces together. Walking around the shop I was impressed with the many different kinds of glass, crystal, & semiprecious stones that were available. While designing my necklace I felt inspired and made a peice that was a symbol of my love for my husband, & I also remember thinking how much my sisters, family, & friends all love jewelry & my vision of LauraAnne Designs was born. I knew I wanted to create Fabulous Handmade Beaded Art Jewerly Designs I could see as a Wearable Art Jewerly & being a way to show personal expression. Knowing that it is handmade & one of a kind allows you to feel as unique as the piece I would design. I still had this need deep inside me to create a new kind of art to express it in something you could wear - a "Handmade Beaded Art Jewelry" Necklaces & Bracelets" pieces too & this new medium would be different for me & I was ready to explore a new way to create jewelry designs. I began designing for hours at a time. Soon I was envisioning the next Handcrafted Beaded Art Jewelry Designs piece while I was still working on my present piece. Everyone around me was so excited & so complimentary. Before I knew it I was selling jewelry! The first time I was asked to show in an art gallery the fruition of my work made all my efforts worth it. I now have my own web site LauraAnneDesigns.com & am on Etsy as lauraannedesigns.
