We are a mother (Gem) and daughter (Lexi) duo who love to express our creativity through various art forms. From the first hand painted rock paperweight many years ago, our love of all things art has grown and changed along the way.
A little about us:
Alexis is currently studying biology at Marshall University and hopes to become a veterinarian one day. ~I love designing new pieces it is a great diversion from studying!
Gemma is currently a stay at home mom. ~In my "other" life I was a financial analyst and more recently I worked for the airline industry before being laid off.
Our interests include crafting, cooking, and travel. We love to traveling to new places, experiencing new cultures and try delicious food!
We also volunteer together. Since we have no pets of our own, we volunteer at our local no kill shelter, Animal Friends. We work in the kennels grooming & walking the dogs, but what we have found most rewarding is fostering. We foster dogs throughout the year, keeping the dogs anywhere from a few days to a month or more. We get to have a pet for awhile and the dog gets love and attention making them much more adoptable once they return to the shelter. It's definitely a win-win situation!
We have found that we really enjoy creating jewelry together, it's our passion. Our work is inspired by our love of travel and learning. We constantly seek new opportunities to perfect our craft and learn new techniques. We are two minds, two inspirations, two ages blended into one. We hope you like the end result!
