Skills and Techniques
We do custom, original hand tooled or branded designs on leather items of all sorts. I am an artist and put my tool or brand my own drawings on leather. I also do woodburning or pyrography. I also sew men\'s custom shirts and some women\'s apparel. I do illustrations, drawings, paintings and portraits with graphite, colored pencils and pen and ink. I paint with acrylics.
Get to Know
Welcome to my shop! I began my art career as a toddler drawing on my parents walls. That did not go so well for all involved, so my parents decided to buy me some art supplies for little ones. I was beside myself! I am still beside myself years later when I go into an art store! I have illustrated quite a few Children\'s books and done some bookcover artwork. I have also done many animal and children\'s portraits. I discovered woodburning or pyrography when a friend gave me some woodburning pens she had in her barn. Sheezam and Waalaa! Still doing that on wood as well as leather. Then I found a leather store doing leather crafting lessons. Couldn\'t resist that one! My lastest road to discovery has me dabbling in oil paint. Love the buttery consistency of the paint. It is fabulous to watch a sepia underpainting become a work of art through my painbrush. It is electrifying to me! You never know what I will take up next!
