I grew up chasing butterflies in rural Wisconsin, all the while daydreaming of escaping to paradise. Tropical paradise to be exact! There I would design beautiful ensembles that would bring delight to island girls and sun-seekers alike...

I got to take the first step toward making that dream come true when I headed to Florida, then NYC, and finally Los Angeles in pursuit of a degree in Fashion Design. I have been working for 5 years for a fashion accessories company in Beverly Hills and enjoying life at the coast in Marina del Rey!

My two passions: fashion and the beach, have always been inseparable.... So I launched Mademoiselle Mermaid, a resort wear line that features tropical prints and silhouettes sure to heat up even the most sultry summer nights...and days too! My first collection, "Tropic of Paradise", consists of five flirty ensembles available in four color ways, and lots of pearls and fabric flower accessories to compliment them!!

My love for creating doesn't end at the clothes line... I'm also passionate about photography, needlework, and illustration.

So, is there still a country girl in there?
You bettcha! I have what can only be described as a fetish for aprons, I'm smitten with vintage cowboy boots, and country music is always playing on my radio!
