I have a wonderful husband, two grown daughters and two beautiful grandchildren.
Crafts are relaxing, fun and so very enjoyable to look at, my house is full of items I've made. I do all sorts of crafts, although sewing and crocheting are my favorite.
I promised myself a few years ago I would only make what I love !! Doll clothes are all my all time favorite, designing and sewing American girl clothes are the most fun, I love them. Likely the little girl in me :)
My Mother sewed a lot,and taught me, I was sewing Doll Clothes at around 7 years old, and my own clothes at 13. My Grandmother taught me to crochet, she was a knitter and I tried knitting but couldn't get those two needles to work together so she gave up and gave me a crochet hook. I've been hooked since.
I am enjoying ArtFire, it's a wonderful feeling to know the things I am making are going all over the country and making other people happy.
