*WELCOME!* My name is Mami. I'm a mom, wife, and jewelry artist. I grew up in Japan and currently live in the U.S. I was always artistic since childhood. I loved to draw, craft, and decorate things. My work always drew many people's attention and often displayed in the art class or art fairs and won prizes. When I lived in Australia to work and study English many many years ago, I met some jewelry artists and very inspired by their work. After that, I traveled around Southeast Asia including Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand, and I was fascinated with Balinese silver art jewelry and their culture. I also visited Thai hill tribes and saw their amazing silver work. Later on, while working as an office clerk, I studied aroma therapy, massage therapy, color therapy, and then crystal healing. This made me deeply interested in minerals and I started to create my own jewelry using natural stones. It's been so much fun and I'm sure I will be doing this for the rest of my life:) I often receive wonderful feedback, which has been great incentives to more efforts and creating attractive jewelry.
