Get to Know

I started designing and creating my own jewelry back in 1986. My first creation was a handmade Egyptian costume; I designed everything from the headdress to the actual dress.

I began by designing items for friends and family mostly. Then in 1997, I decided to start my own company and McClure Designs was born. Check out my website at www.mccluredesigns.com.

I draw inspiration for my handcrafted designs from the Victorian era and from my Scottish/Celtic heritage. I create my designs using sterling silver, semi-precious beads and glittering Czech glass beads.

I take pride in my wire working skills. Look closely at the loops or, as I like to call them, "nooses". These loops are not going to fall off of anything -- unless they are cut off. ;)
