Skills and Techniques
I work in a variety of mediums. for example, I am an experienced quilter and create my own designs. I can knit and crochet and sew. This includes garment construction as well as embroidery and applique. I have designed different kinds of items from lunch bags to pet costumes to clothing and bedding showcasing American Sign Language. I have a background in textile restoration (oriental rugs) as well as experience in a number of languages.
Get to Know
In the past couple of years, I have had the great fortune of sharing my designs in new ways. Not only have you seen them here in my shop, but one of my lunch bag designs has been published in C & T Publishing's collection, "Lunchbag!". In addition, one of my dog costumes will soon be featured in a Hollywood motion picture. (Look for the movie with a Scottie dog that solves mysteries!)
