I am an artist in the truest sense of the word. A weighty statement in this hipster age, yet I really don't know how else to sum up my work, my background, my ambitions and my inspiration.

So I'll just say what inspires me: color, textures, foliage, flowers - the whimsical and the dark; the ephemeral and industrial. The whole SteamPunk trend was an almost perfect reflection of my ideal style - but then so did my hike in the mountains yesterday.

My original shop was born from disillusion and obstinate pride. Do to a rather complicated (and thoroughly political) situation, I wss forced to leave France in early 2009. By June of that year, I'd despaired at finding job in the States. Yet, ever the entrepreneur, I started selling my little creations. And here I am. I've been back in France for a month (it's October, now), and I'm gonna keep creating and appreciating creations. Like I could stop even if I wanted too!

I love variety, eclectic broadness. So I never limit myself to a "specialty" - and I always welcome bizarre and difficult custom jobs. What can I say: CustomMade Pretty Things.
