My name is Melissa and I'm a married, stay-at-home mom to a beautiful 16 yr old daughter whose new found "social calender" keeps me hopping. But I love it. I think that it's just as important, if not more so, to be "at home" during their teen yrs.
I love to create and stay busy, so I operate quite a few different venues to do so. PromoPixie can be found not only here on Artfire, but on Etsy and Zibbet as well--all under the same name. For a different outlet of creativity, I also love to do Pyrography, more commonly known as woodburning. I offer personalized wooden gifts and home decor via my other shop TheWoodyNook, which can be found on both Artfire and Etsy.
I truly believe that the presentation of both your shop AND your products can account for a great percentage of your success. It speaks to the level of pride you take in every aspect of your business and gives the customer the sense that they are not only looking at a QUALITY item, but they are dealing with a QUALITY seller! I also believe that 'presentation' and promotional goods should not always have to come with a hefty price, nor should the quality level of such things have to be sacrificed to be economical.
