Get to Know
Wow, where should I begin! I'm Joanne for those that don't know. Well, I was born in Manhattan, New York and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. I have always been into art. My first love was colored pencils and my second would have to be poetry. I am a self taught artist. My main focus at this time is Jewelry Design. I also draw, paint, write poetry, sew and well the list could go on.
I've been an artist my whole life. I guess you could say it's in my blood. My mother has pictures framed that I did in the 8th and 9th grades! I made my first piece of jewelry when I was about 7 years old or so. I would say that I've been making and selling jewelry for well over 10 years. PurpleLily Designs is my attempt to professionally show that this work is true "craftsmanship" not just "crafts or costume".
