Hello, my name is Shannon and I started making jewelry for myself when I couldn't find pieces to fit my small wrist. This soon turned into a hobby. I started beading in the late part of 2006. I started getting compliments on my jewelry and then someone told me I should start selling my designs. I starting doing small festival shows. I am still doing small shows and they are usually a lot of fun and good for networking. The Art Goggle is the best show I have received the most sales. I enjoy making custom jewelry the most. I like when a customer gives me their ideas and then I use my ideas and make something beautiful. Many of my customers like to help make their one of a kind piece. I like all kinds of things in life so I am really open to any kind of design,even if it is crazy! I also starting painting in 2006 with oil on canvas. I starting painting for a hobby as well and I have sold a few paintings. I just like painting for meditation. Painting calms me and forces me to concentrate on one thing. I also make custom design paintings. I have made a few custom designs and the customers loved them. I am very inexperienced but I love learning as I go with painting. I get my inspiration from life. I often see a color or object during my day to day life and then make something that night with that color and object in mind. I often get more inspiration from customers and friends.
