I was born and raised in Montana mostly on a large cattle ranch. In the late '60's, I became an avid seamstress, sewing mostly clothing for the family. The "crafty" stuff started withmaing stuffed toys out of fake fur. When care bears were popular, there was a shortage. I made dozens of them & a local store sold them. (not bad for a town of 5000). We moved to Idaho Falls in 1989. Sewing was on the back burner for some time. During the past 10 years, I have turned to sewing crafty things. The owner of the Beauty Salon, where I work as a Hair Stylist, encouraged me to bring in my items to sell. What started with a few items, has expanded and new outlets are needed to justify me getting more fabric! Besides sewing, I belong to the Rigby Lions Club, District 39 E. (for those of you that know about Lions). I do their monthly Newsletter & articles for the local paper. I belong to a Dog training Club. Besides sponsoring Obedience and Agility Events, the club offers Obedience, Agility and Rally training classes. I'm envolved in Obedience Training. I think every dog should go to a few classes. I work 4 days a week in the hair Salon.

this is a quilt I made for my daughter. It is a veriation of a log cabin quilt., called the uneaven or chevron design.
A baby Quilt. all done on the machine. Whistle Stop is the name of the print with lop eared bunnies. Green checked flannel backing & an 8 oz. batt.
I like making baby quilts they're not so hard to feed through a regular sewing machine. Don't know that I'd want to do the long arm quilting even if I had the room & money to get one.
I was very pleased. I entered "Funtastic Fleece" contest at the Hancock Fabric store in Idaho Falls, ID & won 1st place with this 0 to 3 month Baby Bunting
