Every day, I like to surround myself with things that inspire me. For this reason I like to make functional art. This allows special items to always be close-by and be ready to take part in my daily routine. Whatever concept I come up with, I find a way to transform it so that it becomes wearable or usable in one way or another. Being able to handle and feel the tactile quality of something that visually captivates us gives it dimension and an additional way to experience it. It also adds intrigue to things we use everyday, and it makes them that much more special.
