Skills and Techniques
I make all my designs and patterns myself then cut the material by hand before sewing the blankets and pillow cases with a non-computerized sewing machine. I don't have an embroidery machine and I don't use store-bought appliques. My work is from my heart and I want it to be special and unique.

I love children and I love making handmade happiness. I'm a forty-something, full-time Mommy to two beautiful little preschool girls. I was one of those professional, salaried, corporate chicks until shortly before the birth of my youngest. My husband and I decided to see if we can make it work having me home to raise our girls instead of letting the staff at daycare do it. It's tight, but it was definitely the best move. My girls inspire me every day and they've taught me so much. They inspire my work and I run it by them every step of the way to make sure it truly is "kid tested and approved".
