BONJOUR et BIENVENUE My name is Denise originally from England but for nearly 19 years now living in the depths of the countryside of SW France with my husband Martin and 19 year old daughter Rosie. Arts Crafts and Interior Decor are my passion. We are also renovating our old stone house using traditional building techniques and all on a small budget. When at last we have rooms the work passes to me (Martin does the heavy weight stuff) which is quite an adventure as I want to experiment with natural materials such as clay and lime finishes that 'breath'. On the whole I'm very happy with the results but have made a few mistakes - you can read about all that in my blog (first link below) Just to say that whatever I do I love the 'hands on' approach whether it's painting a picture decorating a wall or designing a picture frame.
