I have been making flannel board stories for over 10 years! I have worked as an Early Childhood Educator and used many of the flannel board stories I make with my classroom. They are a wonderful way to engage children. I now work as a Supervisor in a preschool and many of the teachers I work with are seeing the benifits of using flannel board stories in their classrooms. With younger children entering school it is a magical way to capture their attention. Using flannel board stories helps children who may have Autism, ADHD, ADD or special needs. They are also perfect for parents to teach their own children! Most of the sets come with song cards unless they are from a book. You can use the song cards or create your own story. All my sets come decorated with glitter fabric paint for the extra special touch that captures children's attention.
