Get to Know
Hello I'm Faye. Lovely of you to stop by :)
I've been making and creating for a long while but most recently, as of the last 3 years or so, I have become more dedicated to jewellery and adornment.
I studied Fine Art and have a love for the Pre-Raphaelites as well as Impressionism and more modern fantasy work.
I have a passion for fairy tale, fiction, nature and... anything that enables one to escape the everyday.
I like creating pieces that speak to a woman's inside self, and enable them to wear that inside on the outside, even in a perhaps subtle way.
I asked some friends, if they could be any archetype or character at all who would they be? I was amazed by the enthusiastic response, and the over riding theme was, a strong woman. Goddess like perhaps, or more earthly, but always powerful and proud and able.
That's what I want to build my pieces on, that they may be a little reminder of who we are on the inside, even when during the every day, we can sometimes lose ourselves.
I most recently have taken up belly dance, which I completely adore, and that has opened me up to new ideas of adornment too.
So much so that you may find some of my pieces quite out there, perfect for festivals, or costume or parties, where you want to go that extra mile to be striking.
I hope you like what you see and feel free to contact me if you would like to enquire about commissions.
Thank you for reading and Brightest Blessings to you and yours,
