The Victorian West Studio now comprises two of my passions and two of my business ventures. The newest of these ventures is my forary into the world of self-publishing. A long-time writer of fantasy and science fiction, my focus has now turned to the world of children's literature in order to overcome the burden of long-term and continued unemployment. In the world of publishing, it take 1-2 years for a novel to appear in print, but I don't have that kind of time, thus my own imprint, Toughnut Press, was created. Book 1 of Ginger Boy and the Silver Lariat is the first in a series of 10 books designed for young readers with stories focusing on the not-so-well-known tales of the American Old West. Along with the books is a series of historical character ornaments sure to bring a smile to your face and a little cheer to your Christmas tree!

A few choice French Beaded Flowers are still available and I may post some fascinators from time to time, but for now the Ginger Boy takes center stage!
